​The Soaring Whale

​天翔けるクジラ

誰にも操れぬ風に運ばれ

星の天蓋より来たりしもの

​

沈黙が神々を知る場所から

夢に括られし海を

漕ぎわたる櫂のごとく

雲を裂いて進みゆく

​

それは海の生きものでなく

生命の力そのもの

光と肉にかたどられし神意

 

運命を動かすために

遣わされたものなのだ

Upon the breath of dawn it rose, vast and gleaming white,

​The soaring whale, borne on winds no mortal could command.

​From the vault of stars it came, where silence knows the gods,

​Its flukes cleaving clouds like oars through seas gathered in dream.

​This was no creature of ocean, but power in living form —

​The will of the divine, shaped in flesh and light,

Sent to steer the fates of men.​
